Current Fellowship Opportunities
The Institute offers a number of fellowship opportunities for periods of research from 3 months to 1 year. Applications are reviewed by a Selection Committee, and we would expect to notify successful candidates within 2 weeks of the application deadlines.
Ho Peng Yoke Fellowship in the History of Science and Technology in China
Li Foundation of New York (US-Based Scholars)
Li Foundation of New York (East Asia)
Soon-Young Kim Award in the History of East Asian Science and Technology
Scholars with External Funding or Self-funded
Other researchers funded by external sources or their own means wishing to visit the Institute for a period of 3 months or more should complete the Application Form and Data Protection Statement, and also provide the following supporting documents in English: 1) Full CV with a list of research publications; 2) a detailed research proposal (1500-2000 words); 3) two letters of recommendation; 4) evidence of proficiency in written and spoken English.
